The goal for this project is to create a book jacket for a french classic, targeting an American audience . The process includes exploring the relationship of typographic solutions to visualize concepts.

“I knew very little about love ”
Bonjour Tristesse scandalized 1950s France with its portrayal of teenager terrible Cécile, a heroine who rejects conventional notions of love, marriage and responsibility to choose her own sexual freedom.
What shocked France at the time of this book’s publication was the depiction of Cecile’s permissive family life – she and her father were more like buddies than father and daughter.
